    Celebration of the “25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) - Scholar’s Lecture and Innovation & Invention Conference" was successfully held at Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (ASJ).

    為什么要做發(fā)明,發(fā)明跟國家有什么關(guān)系,發(fā)明需要遵循什么樣的過程,會遇到哪些困難……6月10日上午,“慶祝中華人民共和國香港特別行政區(qū)成立二十五周年(二)學(xué)者講堂暨創(chuàng)新發(fā)明發(fā)布會”在廣州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校順利展開,活動邀請到了中國女排雅典奧運(yùn)會冠軍張萍出席并參與互動。現(xiàn)場還舉行了創(chuàng)新發(fā)明發(fā)布會,一款新型排球訓(xùn)練機(jī)在廣州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校亮相,該項(xiàng)目由總校長鄭景亮研發(fā),省、市相關(guān)政府部門領(lǐng)導(dǎo)及三十余家粵港澳知名媒體出席發(fā)布會。

    Why do we need inventions? What is the relationship between invention and our country? What kind of process does an invention follow? What are the difficulties encountered...? On the morning of 10 June, ASJ successfully held the “Celebration of the “25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) - Scholar’s Lecture and Innovation & Invention Conference." Our school invited Ms Zhang Ping, the Chinese Women's Volleyball Champion of the Athens Olympics, to participate in the event. A new volleyball training machine was unveiled during the conference, and it was developed by Mr Cheng King Leung, ASJ Chief Principal. The provincial and municipal government leaders and more than 30 renowned media from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao attended the event.

     

    粵港澳大灣區(qū)的沃土,孕育科技創(chuàng)新之光

    The Greater Bay Area nurtures the light of technology and innovation

    2019年2月18日,《粵港澳大灣區(qū)發(fā)展規(guī)劃綱要》重磅出臺,文件指出粵港澳大灣區(qū)是“我國開放程度最高、經(jīng)濟(jì)活力最強(qiáng)的區(qū)域之一”,提出將粵港澳大灣區(qū)打造成為“充滿活力的世界級城市群”、“具有全球影響力的國際科技創(chuàng)新中心”、“‘一帶一路’建設(shè)的重要支撐”、“內(nèi)地與港澳深度合作示范區(qū)”、“宜居宜業(yè)宜游的優(yōu)質(zhì)生活圈”,五項(xiàng)戰(zhàn)略定位特色鮮明,又相輔相成、相互支撐。正是在這樣的背景下,在香港有著超過30年教育工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)的鄭景亮先生接過了廣州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)??傂iL的聘任書,開始了職業(yè)生涯的新嘗試。

    On 18 February 2019, The Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was launched. The Plan states that the Greater Bay Area is “one of the most open and economically vibrant regions in China,” and proposes to develop the  Area into “a vibrant world-class city cluster,” “a globally influential international innovation and technology hub,” “an important support pillar for the Belt and Road Initiative,” “a showcase for in-depth cooperation between the Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao,” and “a quality living circle for living, working and travelling.” The five strategic positionings are distinctive. It is in this background that Mr Cheng King Leung, who has over 30 years of experience in education in Hong Kong, took up the appointment as Chief Principal of ASJ and embarked on a new venture in his career.

    “其實(shí)這個(gè)發(fā)明在我的心里已經(jīng)醞釀五年了,如果不是來到內(nèi)地,它不可能實(shí)現(xiàn)?!?/span>

    在介紹發(fā)明成果時(shí),鄭景亮總校長如是說。鄭景亮總校長認(rèn)為,他的發(fā)明成果其實(shí)是大灣區(qū)融合的產(chǎn)物,是“匯聚三地智慧與力量,創(chuàng)新要素融通”的重要成果。香港靠近國際前沿,自幼在香港成長和從業(yè)的經(jīng)驗(yàn)對于這項(xiàng)創(chuàng)意的萌發(fā)起到了重要的作用。而內(nèi)地機(jī)會成本低、成活成本低,加上有大量優(yōu)秀人才,使得聘請優(yōu)質(zhì)的研發(fā)人員并支撐其完成研發(fā)過程成為可能。

    "In fact, this invention has been in my mind for five years, and it would not have been possible if I had not come to the Mainland." said by Mr Cheng when introducing the invention of the new volleyball training machine.

    He believes that the invention is a product of the integration of the Greater Bay Area, and it is an outcome of bringing together the wisdom of the three places and integrating the elements of innovation. Hong Kong is an international city and Mr Cheng's experience growing up and working there played an important role in developing the invention. Besides, the lower prices on the Mainland and the abundance of talented people made it possible to hire quality R&D staff.

    兩文三語教學(xué)的實(shí)施,培育未來國際人才

    Implementation of biliteracy and trilingualism to nurture future international talents

    在講座分享會上,鄭景亮總校長很自然地以普、粵、英穿插的形式完成了全部的講授過程,并且現(xiàn)場每個(gè)學(xué)生人手一份中英文對照表,這是廣州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校“兩文三語”教學(xué)模式的生動展現(xiàn)。

    During the lecture, Mr Cheng was presenting in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. Each student had a copy of the Chinese/English chart, which was a vivid demonstration of the "biliteracy and trilingualism" teaching model at ASJ.

    鄭景亮總校長認(rèn)為,語言文字關(guān)乎到年輕一代對國家歷史和文化的認(rèn)識,關(guān)乎到民族的溝通、融合與國家認(rèn)同。為此,廣州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校著力于實(shí)施并培養(yǎng)港澳學(xué)生“兩文三語”的能力,首先在教師層面,港籍、外籍、海歸教師占到了教師總數(shù)的70%,全部教師可以進(jìn)行“普英”“普粵”雙語或“普粵英”三語教學(xué)。在學(xué)生層面,語文課程采用人教版教材,并附加繁簡對照表,在增強(qiáng)學(xué)生語文基礎(chǔ)知識的同時(shí),提高對于繁體字的識記能力。在英文方面,學(xué)校矢志不渝地營造英語為主的社區(qū)環(huán)境,采用英語為學(xué)科授課語言、用英語布置書面材料、早讀時(shí)背記各類理科術(shù)語和誦讀英語文章等等。

    Mr Cheng stated that language is related to the young generation's understanding of the country's history and culture, as well as the communication, integration, and national identity. To this end, ASJ is committed to implementing and developing the biliteracy and trilingualism skills of our students.

    In terms of academic staff, Hong Kong, expatriate and returnee teachers account for 70% of the total number of teaching staff. All teachers are bilingual in Mandarin-English, Mandarin-Cantonese, or trilingual in Mandarin-Cantone-English. The Chinese Language course is taught in the Ren Jiao version with additional traditional and simplified Chinese character lists. This enhances students' basic language knowledge while improving their literacy skills for traditional Chinese characters. In terms of English learning, our school is committed to creating an English-based community environment. We use English as the instruction language, assign written materials in English, memorise various science terms, and recite English texts during morning reading.

    此外,學(xué)校還提供了更多的語言選擇,面向小學(xué)、中學(xué)生開通了日語、韓語、俄語等課程,今后還計(jì)劃開設(shè)意大利語、西班牙語,供學(xué)有余力的同學(xué)去學(xué)習(xí)。

    “兩文三語”教學(xué)模式的實(shí)施,在增進(jìn)港澳學(xué)生對國家的認(rèn)同并融入國家發(fā)展大局的前提下,幫助孩子們用更多的語言去跟世界對話,發(fā)展多元文化理解、培養(yǎng)批判精神。

    Moreover, ASJ provides a broader range of language options. Japanese, Korean, and Russian are offered to primary and secondary school students. We are planning to offer Italian and Spanish for those who are able to learn them.

    The "biliteracy and trilingualism" teaching model is designed to help Hong Kong and Macao students identify with their country and integrate into its development while assisting them to communicate with the world, develop multicultural understanding, and foster a critical spirit.

    校長榜樣示范的作用,激發(fā)探究創(chuàng)新潛能

    A Principal's role as a model to stimulate innovation and invention

    鄭景亮總校長在講座環(huán)節(jié)為同學(xué)們講解了“發(fā)明”一詞概念的演變,并分析了為什么要做發(fā)明,讀書與發(fā)明的關(guān)系等。講座完畢后,鄭景亮總校長在現(xiàn)場親自示范他所研發(fā)的新型排球訓(xùn)練機(jī)的操作方式,這是一款專為團(tuán)隊(duì)或個(gè)人而設(shè)計(jì)的新型排球訓(xùn)練機(jī),可調(diào)節(jié)的手柄和刻度標(biāo)示使得使用者可以輕松設(shè)置和監(jiān)控垂直跳躍高度。鄭景亮總校長一邊演示一邊細(xì)致地講解它與現(xiàn)在市面上排球訓(xùn)練機(jī)器的不同之處。

    During the lecture, Mr Cheng explained the evolution of the concept of "invention," analysed the relationship between reading and invention, and discussed why it is important to invent. After the lecture, Mr Cheng showed the operation of his new volleyball training machine, which designed for teams or individuals. The machine is with adjustable handles and scale markings that allow users to easily set and monitor the vertical jump height. He demonstrated the invention and explained in detail how it differs from other volleyball training machines on the market today.

    鄭景亮總校長表示,他希望通過親身示范作用,來告訴學(xué)生們,學(xué)習(xí)與發(fā)明不是“魚和熊掌”的關(guān)系,二者是可以兼得的。而發(fā)明也不是屬于科學(xué)家的“專利”,“生活無處不發(fā)明”。鄭景亮總校長認(rèn)為,其實(shí)每個(gè)孩子都具備與生俱來的科學(xué)研究的品質(zhì),這些品質(zhì)包括豐富的想象力,強(qiáng)烈的好奇心與探究欲等。而教育的作用即在于好好保護(hù)這些良好的品質(zhì),并能夠很好地引導(dǎo)與激發(fā)這些品質(zhì)。

    Mr. Zheng said that he wanted to show students through his invention that learning and invention can be combined. Inventions are not the sole property of scientists, but rather "inventions are everywhere in life." He believed that every child is born with the qualities of scientific research, including a rich imagination, a strong curiosity, and a desire to investigate. The role of education is to protect these qualities and to guide and stimulate them well.

    活動現(xiàn)場還進(jìn)行了廣州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校與廣州中望龍騰軟件股份有限公司合作授牌儀式。雙方將就定制化軟件服務(wù)及教學(xué)研究教材、教師培訓(xùn)、課程資源等配套內(nèi)容進(jìn)行深入合作,共同打造科學(xué)創(chuàng)新課程體系。

    The event also included a ceremony to award the cooperation between ASJ and Zwsoft Co.,ltd.(guangzhou) The two sides will cooperate in depth on customised software services and supporting contents such as teaching and research materials, teacher training, and curriculum resources to jointly create a scientific and innovative curriculum system.

    此前,廣州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校已經(jīng)在課外開設(shè)了少年航空班、機(jī)器人、模具制作、3D打印機(jī)、大疆機(jī)器人(機(jī)甲大師)創(chuàng)意編程、STEM(麥高)等課程,成立了研習(xí)小組。今年2月,學(xué)校因制度創(chuàng)新性強(qiáng)、市場主體反映好、具備借鑒推廣價(jià)值,有效解決了在廣州就業(yè)創(chuàng)業(yè)港澳專業(yè)人才的后顧之憂,提升了廣州對港澳高端專業(yè)服務(wù)人才的吸引力,被國務(wù)院服務(wù)貿(mào)易發(fā)展部際聯(lián)席會議辦公室評為“最佳實(shí)踐案例”。學(xué)校將繼續(xù)以多種方式增進(jìn)學(xué)生對科技創(chuàng)新的理解和能力的培養(yǎng),豐富學(xué)生的國際視野,培養(yǎng)解難、探究及創(chuàng)新能力,為大灣區(qū)培育未來的科技創(chuàng)新人才。

    Furthermore, ASJ has set up study groups and offered courses in Flight Simulator, Robotics, Making Different Molds, 3D Printing, DJI RoboMaster, STEM, etc. In February 2022, ASJ was awarded "Best Practice Case" by the Ministry of Commerce for its innovative system, positive market feedback, and value for replication, which enhances Guangzhou's attractiveness to talents from Hong Kong and Macao. ASJ will continue to promote students' understanding and competence in science, technology and innovation in a variety of ways, enriching their international perspective, and developing their problem-solving, inquiry and innovation skills. We are committed to nurturing the future technology and innovation talents for the Greater Bay Area.
